In 1971 my
parents purchased a house in Moore - Fern Bank, 26 Runcorn Road. This
is a plan of the house and neighbour's house. |

In 1979 I
left UK and came to live in Australia. In 1996 I went back for a
holiday. This is my son Doug and myself outside the Barley Mow,
Warrington during my holiday. |

Daresbury
Firs. The schoolchildren of Daresbury school used this area for nature
studies. I remember walking to the wood from the back of the school
along a footpath - the motorway wasn't built when I went to the school
(c1958-c1964). I also remember the wildflowers such as the bluebells in
spring, and the rocky outcrops which provided a natural playground for the
schoolchildren. |
