A few pictures from our place after Cyclone Tessi

If you are local then you would know that Townsville absorbed the brunt
of Cyclone Tessi in the early hours on Monday morning 3-Apr-2000.
A Category 1 cyclone (the weakest kind thankfully) crossed just north
of Townsville bringning widespead flooding and high wind damage.
Widespead loss of power and telephone services occured throughout the region. We lost power from 2am Monday morning till 12noon Wednesday. |
