Orientation Walk (complimentary to guests)
Great Barrier Reef Trips

Taipan Lady - Adults $84 per person.
Child $61.50 (14 yrs & under). Cruise to the beautiful Mackay Cay
on the Great Barrier Reef. Departs 8am and returns at 5pm. Includes lunch
and snorkel equipment.

Rum Runner V - Adults $100, child $40
(14 yrs & under). Rum Runner V offers a fast, comfortable 35 minute
boat trip to the reef, and then 4 hours to snorkel, SCUBA dive (extra
cost) and relax in the sun. Cost includes buffet lunch. (SCUBA and guided
snorkel tour is extra cost.)
Tours And Expeditions

Bloomfield Track Waterfall Safari -
Adults $100, child $75. Join one of our local guides and experience the
rugged beauty of the area. Travel along the Bloomfield Track and discover
the changing landscape as rainforest meets reef-fringed tropical beaches
and the open woodlands of Cape York, and swim in crystal clear mountain
streams. Includes a visit to the beautiful waterfalls of Wujal Wujal.

Cooper Creek Day Cruise - Adults $30
including transfers. Minimum of 4 people. Cruise along Coopers Creek discovering
the unique ecology of mangroves and their significance along tropical
coastlines. This is a great opportunity to see the saltwater crocodile
in the wild, perhaps basking on the muddy banks of the creek. Times as
advertised at reception.

Noah Valley and Marrdja Cultural Expedition
- Adults $100 including lunch. Children $60. During this 6 hour trip you
will observe the wildlife of the Noah Range where the Cassowary still
exists. The Noah Valley expedition explores the habitat of this rare bird
and takes you on a crocodile mangrove cruise on Coopers Creek, then a
walk along the picturesque Marrdja botanical walk. Then it is off to Emmagen
Creek for a swim before exploring Cape Tribulation.

Wilderness Walk - Adults $45. Minimum
of 2 people. This 3 hour trek includes some of the more remote and biologically
rich lowland rainforest and creeks in the region. The walk includes scenic
views of Cape Tribulation and surrounding forest areas. Please note that
a good level of fitness is required as the terrain is quite rough. Times
advertised at reception.

Daintree River and Aboriginal Cultural
Expedition - Adults $100, children $60. Minimum of 4 people. Explore the
southern area of the Daintree National Park. One of Australia’s leading
ornithologists will take you on a 2 hour Daintree River cruise, with some
of the largest concentrations of birds & wildlife on the continent.
Then on to Mossman Gorge (visited by President Clinton during his Port
Douglas visit November 1996) for a guided rainforest walk led by a member
of the Kuku Yalangi Aboriginal tribe, to learn about "bush tucker" and
Aboriginal medicine, and listen to a Aboriginal "dreamtime" story and
have morning tea. Then on to the sparkling waters of the Mossman Gorge
and lunch, with time to swim in the rainforest Mossman River and relax
before returning to the Coconut Beach Resort. Times advertised at reception

Guided 1.5 Hour Rainforest Walk - Adults
$18, children $9. The rainforests of the Wet Tropics are home to the most
diverse range of primitive flowering plant families in the world, and
have the greatest variety of animal and plant life on the continent. Join
our guide on this informative walk where we identify the native flora
and fauna including some of Daintree National Park’s more primitive species
of plants and one of the reasons why this area was listed as World Heritage
in 1988.

Aboriginal Cultural Walk - Adults $18,
children $9. Join a member of the Kuku Yalangi tribe for a cultural experience
in an area previously inhabited by the Cape Tribulation aborigines. Learn
during this 1.5 hour tour how they harvested and prepared "bush tucker",
and experience the history of the Kuku Yalangi passed down through generations.

The Nocturnal Walk - Adults $25, children
$12.50. Experience the nocturnal world of this ancient rainforest when
the night dwellers emerge. This will be your greatest opportunity to wonderful
